Sampling & Process Photos
As Assistant Scenic Charge for "Rent", I fully sampled and led the scenic artists on painting all of the various textures of the set, including the physical brick, concrete, rusty metal, and the graffiti floor. The three-dimensional bricks were made with cellulose sheets sliced in half, and were given a base "dye" treatment, and the graffiti floor was an effort of multiple passes of a variety of colors, utilizing fitch brushes, sponge rollers, and sprayers to add depth, grit, and detail.
