For "Cabaret", the unit I was tasked with drafting was the detailed portal that featured a broken filigree aesthetic. This was the first unit that I had professionally drafted and featured a steel frame for the filigree detail, which followed the linework and provided structure seamlessly from behind, and connected to our stock hollywood-style portal frame. The corner filigree details had a curved aspect to them, which was a unique challenge of achieving with a roll-bender and wiggle-wood reveal.
